Marmaris Sunset Tour
Overview
The sunset tours in Marmaris take you up in the afternoon or evening from Marmaris Limanı and walk through the bay in the rivers near the harbour; most programs offer dinner on the boat. In this program, the boat departs around 17:30 and is given about an hour of swimming time before the weather is darkened at Cennet Adası@ in the south. The boat then waits for sunset, ironing at the bay mouth at Cennet Adası; dinner (usually grilled chicken or buckwheat, pasta and salad) is served at this time. After it gets dark, it returns to the Marmaris lights and arrives at the port around 21:30. As the sunset time moves to 20:00 in July and approaches 19:00 at the end of September, the departure time varies from month to month; some operators also take an evening tour with 20:00 departure and 23:00 turn. Between May–@5@@, on some boats only certain days of the week are held. Alcoholic drinks are usually not included. It is recommended to take a thin top clothes for the evening coolness.
