Manavgat River & Waterfall Tour
Overview
The Manavgat river tour rises around 9:30 a.m. from the slopes on the coast of Manavgat Irmağı; @1@@, Kızılot and shopping from surrounding hotels is between 08:15–09:15. The boat descends along the river for about an hour and iron at Boğaz where the river drops to Akdeniz. There is cool fresh water on the one hand, salty seawater on the other; a swimming snack of about an hour is given, and lunch (usually grilled chicken, rice, salad) is served on the boat. The boat returns to the town in the afternoon and is taken by a group car to Manavgat Şelalesi, about 3 km north of the town; entrance to the waterfall is paid separately. Afterwards, they are given 1.5–2 hours of free time at the Manavgat market and the group returns to their hotels around 16:00. The tours are mostly held on Mondays and Thursdays when the market is established. The tour is organized between April–@6@@; it is useful to bring cash for the may, towel and market. Some operators visit the waterfall in the morning, before the boat.
